Lagrangian description of flute drift turbulence of teta-pinch plasma
Two-fluid hydrodynamics is used to derive a system of equations suitable for the description of advanced drift fluxes of particles and the energy in a 0-pinch plasma. A general stability criterion is obtained for an inhomogeneous plasma in a straight field relative to drift oscillations of the flute type. The nonlinear regime is investigated qualitatively.
