Influence of pi condensate on single-nucleon absorption of slow pions by atomic nuclei
An estimate is presented, showing an appreciable increase of the probability of single-nucleon absorption of slow pions by nuclei under the influence of the π condensate. Measurement of the probability of single-nucleon absorption may be a crucial experiment determining the existence of a condensate in nuclei.
