Polarization loss and induced electric charge of neutrinos in plasmas
Neutrinos interact with an electromagnetic field and with charged particles in a plasma by virtue of the electromagnetic structure which arises from electroweak interactions [S. Weinberg, Phys. Rev. Lett. 19, 1264 (1967); A. Salam, in Elementary Particle Physics, Almqvist and Wiksells, Stockholm, 1968, p. 367] and which is determined by the electromagnetic form factor Fv(q2).
