Orbital angular momentum and friction force between vortices and the normal component in 3He-A
The friction force is derived from hydrodynamics. The derivation indicates that the orbital angular momentum, which determines the inertia of the orbital motion, strongly affects the critical behavior of the friction force in the Л phase. The values of this angular momentum which follow from the existing elementary theories are discussed.
