Hadron bubbles in nuclear matter

Nonlinear effects in the interaction of hadrons with a nucleus are analyzed. It is shown that К + mesons form bubbles in nuclear matter which are similar to electron bubbles in liquid helium. Charged pions produced in collisions of heavy relativistic ions may collect and form droplets — 5-7 Fm in size containing ~ iO2 particles.
