Possible Existence of Autoloca!ized States of Carriers in Magnetic Semiconductors with Narrow Bands

It is shown in the present paper that auto-localized states can be thermodynamic ally favored in ferroand paramagnetic semiconductors with A >> ΔΕ >> zIS2 (ΔΕ is the width of the band, ~2AS"1s^ and 2lS ·§ , are the exchange energies η η η' of the electron interaction with the n-th and the neighboring atoms, ζ is the coordination number, and S is the spin of the atom) .
