The π condensate and data on the scattering of electrons by nuclei
The hypothesis is advanced that the experimentally observed distortion of the scattering curve at momentum transfer q ~ 3 F'1 is due to the layered nuclear-matter structure caused by it condensation. Other possible experiments in which the layered structure of nuclear matter might be manifest are discussed.
