Photoneutron reactions near the threshold and the optical model of the nucleus
A quantitative interpretation of the valence mechanism of the (γη) reaction near threshold is presented. The formulas for the partial £1 radiative strength functions and for the nonresonant part of the cross section are expressed in terms of the shell and optical models.
