Nonlinear Interaction of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Waves in III-V Semiconductors and the Possibility of Hypersound Seneration
The previously uninvestigated nonlinear interaction between electromagnetic and acoustic waves in III-V piezosemiconductors is considered. Under suitable conditions, the investigated nonlinear!ty can be used to develop parametric hypersonic generators up to frequencies on the order of 1011 sec-1.
