Quantum tunnelling of vortices in very clean type-Π superconductors is shown to be governed by the Hall term in the equation-of-motion. An effective action determining the tunnelling probability is calculated. It is argued that high-temperature superconductors may well belong to a class of very clean materials and posseses the Hall tunnelling at low temperatures.
