Radiative collections to the pion beta-decay

QED radiative corrections to the width of the pion /З-decay * are calculated choosing muon decay as a normalization process. The hadronic effects in pion-virtual photon interactions are taken into account using the vector meson dominance model. Uncertainties due to strong interactions as well as the contribution from a background process we found to be small. The pure pionic radiative correction 6* " — 1.5% was obtained.
